Celebrating Success: Our 2024/25 CCC Programme's Incredible Impact! 🥳

It's always a joy to continue our journey with Yuen Long Long Ping Estate Tung Koon Primary School, and this past year was no exception! Our Chinese, Cultural and Community (CCC) Programme (2024-2025) was another chapter filled with discovery, laughter, and incredible growth, and we are absolutely thrilled to share the fantastic achievements of our students.

Playful Assessments, Powerful Progress 📊

To see just how far our students had come, we held our final play-based assessment in our very own "粵講粵叻百貨公司 (CantoGather Department Store)". This wasn't a test; it was a fun, interactive shopping trip where students used their Cantonese skills to follow shopping lists and express their preferences, showing us how well they could use the language in daily life.

The results were simply brilliant. From the 16 students who took part in both the first and final assessments, we saw a huge leap in confidence and ability.

The improvement in their foundational skills was particularly impressive, with over 60% of students boosting their Level 1 scores by more than 30%! In fact, eight students saw their scores in this area jump by an amazing 41-50%. On average, scores soared across the board, showing a clear and powerful enhancement in their Chinese abilities.

More Than Numbers: A Story of Growing Confidence ✨

But the story of this year's success isn't just told in numbers. The real magic happened in the classroom, week after week. Our tutors witnessed a wonderful blossoming of confidence in the students.

Many are now able to confidently recall words and sentences from each unit, with noticeable improvements in their character recognition and writing speed. We saw their eagerness to learn grow, with some students even proactively reading Chinese sentences aloud. It's been a joy to watch their motivation and confidence soar.

This incredible progress is a testament to the hard work of our students and the unwavering dedication of our tutors. Our tutors praised the students' positive attitude, their eagerness to learn, and their wonderful spirit of cooperation.
